Bonnyrigg has a population of 18,320 and is projected to grow significantly with more and more young families moving to the town and surrounding areas.
Many of these new families to the town will want to join Bonnyrigg Rose Community Football Club www.bonnyriggrose.org.uk/join -us/ who offer football to boys and girls aged 4 to 18 and Ladies football
Bonnyrigg Rose Community Football Club offers a pathway for young players to the Senior team at Bonnyrigg Rose Football Club – in recent years 6 former Community Club players have been involved with the senior team. Most recently at 15 years of age Goalkeeper Fraser Brown was on the bench for the EOS Cup match away to Dunbar.
Bonnyrigg Rose Community Football Club is an SFA Platinum Quality Mark Club and a recent SFA Community Club of the Year.
The supporter base at Bonnyrigg Rose is wide and reflective of the wider community with a large number of season ticket holders being under 18 or over 65.
New Dundas Park is one of the few grounds in SPFL 2 that is still based in the town centre and with amongst the highest crowds in the SPFL 2 this generates significant income for the local community.
New Dundas Park is a firm favourite for the ‘’groundhopping’ community who appreciate the traditional aesthetics of a ground with supporter on all sides of the grounds. They also love the welcome.
